About the book...

Mother Earth creates an army of paranormal super-beings known as The Gemini. They will try everything to wipe out humanity- plagues, disasters, cancer.

Oliver Weldon, oil tycoon, is recruited by the Mother and becomes a lead Gemini. Renamed Onyx, his duty is to completely destroy the human race.

The Gemini, a powerful rising force, proceeds to systematically decimate towns, cities, states… and eventually, the world.

Amidst the chaos, a forbidden relationship between a girl, Violette, and Onyx, begins. He will wrestle between his new found conscience and his duty to the Mother.

They find themselves in the middle of a revolutionary war that will either save, or destroy human kind.

I am sad today. I miss my daddy. This is my forst Xmas without my dad- rough. I am pasting my acknowledgements page below- just to put it out there.

Acknowledgments
To my husband, Sam, thank you for giving me the space to write, the time to create, for listening to me rave about the characters that inspired my book and not getting jealous. Thank you for constantly encouraging me to try new things and allowing me to take risks.

To my daughter, Morgan, thank you for talking out the difficult plot twists and suggesting character roles. Thank you for inspiring me to write by telling me that I inspire you. We shall inspire each other, little love. Keep writing. You are so very talented.

To my father, Barry Weinstock, (02/12/1944-10/6/2012) thank you for sharing all your incredible talents with me, for loving me throughout my disastrous adolescence, and for making me laugh til’ it hurts. I love you, I miss you. You fought a good fight, dad. You dedicated your first book to me so I figured I’d return the favor. Well… see ya later.

To my mother, Donna, thank you for inspiring my imagination, oo-ing and ah-ing over my art work and helping me get past my most difficult hours. You are my hawk.

To my entire family, I love you all so very much.

Last, but definitely not least, to Jack Hanny, Ivor and Ronnie Whitson, and Ann LaFarge, thank you for believing in me, taking me under your wings, and opening up the door to my dreams!

  1. Hi. Thank you for following my blog. I am now following yours too. I have just read that you're feeling sad today. I understand. Christmas can unfortunately have that effect on us. But you seem to have a wonderful family and friends, who, I'm sure will cheer you up (your father would want you to be happy).
Kindest Regards from one of your Book Blogs new acquaintances

    1. Monica- thank you so much for your kind words and for following my blog! U R right, he always wanted me to be happy and if I wasn't, he always tried to fix it. He taught me the valuable lesson that sometimes, you just have to be sad for a little bit. I always tell my girl, "I know it hurts now, but just remember, you won't always feel this way." I think he taught me that saying too. Huh. Dads. So full of wisdom.

  4. Hi--I'm following you now. You can follow me at www.gardenwindow.me.

Thank you for the poem about the lost baby. We just found out yesterday that our sweet daughter-in-law lost the baby she and our son have been praying for for five years. She was only two months along, and didn't know she was pregnant yet. Our hearts bleed for her. They wanted that baby so much.

    Good luck with your book.
