He stomped out
of the room, disgusted. He was supposed to be a cruel, heartless, soul
snatching warrior! Not a sniveling, sappy, fool. He retraced his steps to the
playground and found himself wanting to run laps. This was not an acceptable
recreational activity for a teenage girl in a Catholic school, as the uniform
he wore indicated. He quietly did some pull-ups on the monkey bars. He needed
to keep his efforts focused.
"Okay,
girls! Time for Bible study. Inside we go." He found himself rolling his
eyes, not wanting to be subjected to learning their beliefs, much less reading
the literature. Maybe he had chosen the wrong body. It would be hard to get
close to the hierarchy in a girl's body. Maybe he should take over an older
man? Being an older man would make it difficult to see Violette, which
shouldn't matter one iota. He would try some cleverness and Eleanor first. If
it was too difficult for him to learn and get where he needed to go, he would
skip to someone else.
